The program focuses on professional communication, and incorporating all four macro skills, to ensure that your language needs are met. This program also covers all relevant topics in nursing to help you follow your career path with confidence.
The program is delivered with an initial assessment of the area or areas deemed to require additional support. The topics covered will include a medical, surgical focus and general care of a client within a healthcare setting. The program is designed to improve communication skills and specialist language knowledge to be able to work more confidently in this setting.
Listening and speaking activities are covered which are linked to core units and are extended with the use of case studies, to develop critical thinking and reflection on practice will be used extensively throughout the program.
